Description

1.) Kotkaniemi contract is becoming one of the worst in the league, and he’s getting passed by people like Drury and Canes are in a win now window. Keep guentzel would be a priority imo. Orlov is pretty even value i think but swapping him and Mario just gives them better cap space. So the trade becomes Orlov for Mario straight up then Kotkaniemi and a first for kunin. Caniac3000 and that person with red wolf(?) pfp I hear your objections and understand Kotkaniemi still has promise and canes wouldnt want to move on / would rather move staal, but staal has an NMC.
Idk if I would take Kotkaniemi under any circumstances tbh but just wanted to get Orlov, taking a bad contract that long is not the type of dump that Grier has been looking for.
2.) Pageu cap dump to give islanders management wiggle room.

3.) Smith and Levshunov on Cuda.

4.) I dont think couture will play again, but wanted to include hm to mix it up.

Canes reject. Not that I’m a huge KK fan. I do think he could be traded, but Orlov is a better player than Mario and moving one for the other doesn’t solve anything. I don’t think the Canes plan to re-sign Pesce.

I think the Canes could move KK if they wanted without paying to do so.

Btw - Kunin isn’t good.
