An aging, solid vet that cannot get a contract like this anywhere else.
He is brought in to coach the young studs in the fine parts of the game and how to maintain a high level of game year in and out.

What’s the point of tanking if your focus isn’t on nurturing and mentoring your younger players?
Plus sharks have to reach cap floor!
If the sharks don’t sign a top 4 D I’ll be upset and if they don’t and Embersom and Thrun aren’t everyday NHL era I’ll be pissed lol
