I don't think Buchnevic is going to be worth his next contract and I'm not keen on extending a 29 year old longterm. There's also a risk he doesn't want to resign at all. So if we can get him extended to $7m x 5 years. Then it's worth it.

St Louis got him for a 2nd and a bottom sixer. Chychrun traded for him would be such poor asset management, but maybe we don't get as much value as we'd like.
