Not that it's a bad offer or anything. But the isles are not interested in Marner for a few reasons

1. only 1 year left at 10.9M
2. We don't have cap space
3. From what I heard from Toronto media, he wants a new deal at 12M-12.5M for 7 or 8 years. - NO THANK YOU.

please get out your old Rolling Stones vinyl. regarding Marner's contract ask...."You Can't Always Get What You Want"
BTW Leafs could do a sign & trade, and maybe Lou could make the Leafs eat Engvall's contract in return lol

Yeah I'm sure that 3M per will make up for him getting 12M per year. Sorry I don't see this as a good move for the isles.
