Now that the lotto is done here is another roster that assumes Couture is healthy enough to return. D upgrades from UFA's and a trade to see if a change of scenery helps the respective players to try and trim that -175 goal differential to a little more reasonable number. I'm pretty sure these guys will be seeking longer term.

Congratulations on winning the lottery. I think it’s safe to say that every NHL fan outside of CHI was rooting for SJS.

I highly doubt Tanev or Duchene sign there though. They’re looking to win a cup at this point in their careers. The same likely goes for OEL. Your only chance of getting those guys right now would likely be paying them wildly above market value. Being that they’ve made quite a bit of money already and are all ringless, even overpayment may not be enough to get them to SJS.

Good point on Tanev and Duschene. Sharks are in a position to overpay, but Grier has stated he has no interest in blowing all the cap.
