DuBois for Easton Cowan, Fraser Minten and your 2024 first-round draft pick is more likely than that you get Brandt Clarke in a Marner trade. I know some $h!t-for-brains low-IQ dimwit embarrassed himself in The Hockey News today by suggesting so, but you really have to be skeptical about homer clowns who type with only one hand above the desk.

That does not get you Askarov. NSH isn't going to move him, especially not for that package. Rielly has value in TOR, but in NSH, he isn't as valuable. NSH already has Josi and McDonagh, so Rielly will only ever be a 2nd pair LD at best in NSH. NSH also has several LD's in the AHL that are ready to play NHL minutes.

The 1st is the most enticing piece of this, and it is 12 spots lower than where Askarov was drafted, so pass.
