Except it won’t happen
And it’s really not “fine”
There’s a lot of question marks about this lineup

1- if Byram plays well enough this season that he’s still Dahlin’s partner, then $5.5per seems light to me

2- why is Quinn getting significantly less than Peterka?
If it’s bc he didn’t play as well this season, then you’ve got a pretty big 3rd line question mark with the 2 other young guys who you don’t even know how they’ll be

3- the bottom6 in general is a huge question mark, as they’re extremely young with no proven Centers
That’s just bad team building

4- speaking of bad team building, there’s no improvements made to the young (and suspect) defense, as well as no depth for when Samuelsson gets banged up (like he always does)

You’re sacrificing all that for a splashy move of bringing in Konecny, who has an injury history himself
Not to mention, you’ll presumably be trading for him THIS season (since that’s what we were talking about), right ???

So what did u give up to get him?
Jokiharju & pick 11 isn’t gonna cut it most likely
Does Savoie or Kulich need to be a part of it?
There’s another hole to fill
Will adding Ostlund make the deal work? Maybe

But this feels so far fetched
And very, very “GMTM” of u guys
The Sabres just aren’t ready yet to make a big move like u guys want

Stay the course
Develop all that young talent, and don’t get in Cap trouble
Add a couple Vets on expiring deals

Just picking up those goal posts and walking away with em huh?

You said Buffalo couldn't afford to make a big move. Proved you wrong.

Byram plays with dahlin because their games compliment each other. He played mostly with jokiharju and Samuelsson the past few years. Should they get 7 million? He also has had his injury concerns too

Quinn has had 2 major injuries, hence a year behind peterka production wise.

Didn't make any trades either, could have cleared guys.

Keep moving those goal posts
