Pens can't take that cap hit. Do the Pens a favour, keep the overpriced Petry. Why do the Kings make that trade?

Kings needs a top Line To play with kopitar , galchenyuck or Young with already a 30 goals season under his best. His cap hit is low. Pacioretty is the more skilled player of the deal with low cap hit that compensate pétry higher sa part. Pitsburgh needs supports To fragile puck moving defensemen chris letang.

Gally and Carter have about the same cap hit. For the Kings to lose 2nd centre and PP guy Carter....I can't see it. I like Patches, but especially when Letang is back, that's a big cap hit to the Pens.(with Petry) Really, you think Petry is anything special?
