I'm not sure that's going to get it done on Hanifin. During the off-season CAR was looking for a young impact forward for Hanifin. The closest thing we have currently is Pasta and that's obviously not an option, so I'd imagine we'd need to offer up multiple young NHL players. If I had to guess....

Retaining on Beleskey really is what CAR was looking for. Top line center? **** that! LHD prospect (a position they're beyond deep at) and a cap dump! YEAH!!!! Glad you threw in a few firsts. Carolina didn't want to trade Hanifin for 3 first round picks in 2015, but they'll definitely do this one.
