I'm not mad arthe suggestion... but we already have a Plekanec. Our Cap space has a lot of potential for next UFA season

Plek is cooked though. The Habs aren't gonna keep him.

Lets see Spezza from point production is worth a 2nd and based on Johns RHD production puts him at a 2nd aswell. Cracknell is probably a 5th in perspective.

7,5M caphit makes Spezza's contract very, very hard to move.

He is still performing at a decent basis, I am sure Dallas would be willing to retain some his salary.
