This is insane. None of those pieces have any value in comparison. Kane is a UFA to be. Reinhart isn't legit. Pu hasn't proven anything yet. McCabe is average. 2nd Round picks are practically meaningless when talking about a deal with one of the top 5 players in the league. You literally aren't losing anything valuable. I couldn't see Ottawa doing a deal with Buffalo unless either Eichel or Ristolainen were involved. If you think that's too expensive of a price, then you don't understand how good Erik Karlsson is. A top 5 player league wide for a bunch of assets worth a late 1st or more likely 2nd round picks..... it just doesn't add up to anything close to even and I'm not an Ottawa fan.
