I would not trade Stone for "just" that. Look at what Duchene got. How I'd take Stone over Duchene anyday so you do the math. Mark Stone is an RFA at the end of this contract. Not UFA. So there is no rush to trade him from Ottawa's standpoint.

I don't think Ottawa would give you Zack Smith for that return. No way it lands you Stone.

If you want stone you're probably looking at valimaki and a roster player in the top 9. With that said, I would under no circumstance trade valimaki.
