Looking at adding another depth D to have for playoff time in case of injuries, especially one with Stanley Cup experience..... Johnny Oduya is out of the playoffs? OMG YES SAVE HIM!!!! That way if Orpik gets suspended for a few games, or Trotz decides not to play rookie defensemen in the playoffs, INBD.

Chorney's left handed, though, so... Since Oduya is, too (https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/o/oduyajo01.html), Chorney probably gets traded or demoted. On the plus side, that give you 850k in cap space. Jagr (150k retained)?

No way in hell the caps trade Siegenthaler for someone like Pouliot, Siegenthaler is a future top 4 dman for the caps

Mainly a mid level D can be inserted there Bobby, figure with spots going to be precious and having Bowey and Djoos already up with guys like Johansen, Hobbs, Williams, Siegenthaler, the kid that played in world Jrs for Switzerland Geissner, a nice log jam starting to give Caps some options without having to trade higher picks.
