I can't see Vancouver saying no to that. They have no large contracts. Will he waive? Who knows. Stone is a RW his whole career. Keep him there with Toews. Sign Duclair he's going to be a much bigger piece to this team than people expect. I don't know if Arty gets you that 1st without retention. Other than that this isn't terrible.

May have trouble getting Crawford resigned as well as DeBraincat. Deals like the Stone trade is why the Hawks are in trouble to much money in a few baskets. My leafs will have a similar problem soon. Chicago needs to go after lower cost options and maximize there value

I mean we have our Eriksson deal, but I think we would accept that trade

anisimov has a very cap friendly contract. i think at this deadline if they were willing to trade him, could get a 1st. or i would be ok with a anisimov for hornqvist straight up. Kane needs a solidified top 6 with him and schmaltz. I could see a stone, toews, debrincat line tho. that would be fire.

no. he is way more trash than seabrook is. seabrook can still be a solid 2nd pairing D. eriksson is a trash third liner at best. id much rather give up a first and retain something.
