Few rebuilding teams have had this much turnover at a deadline.

That said, if the Rangers are prepared to give up McDonagh, Zuccarello, Grabner, Nash, etc., they might consider making an additional move with Ottawa, and there have been rumors linking the Rangers to Karlsson.

If the Rangers took Bobby Ryan's contract and additionally gave Ottawa two 1st rounders, Gropp, Hayes, and Vesey, would that be enough? If I were Ottawa, I'd still prefer a top prospect instead (e.g. Sergachev), but idk how many teams would be willing to take Ryan, which is reportedly a mandatory condition of any Karlsson deal.
