The penguins do not need to add on offense. They have Best Center depth in the league with Crosby-Malkin-Brassard-Sheahan. Hagelinand hornqvist are hot on Malkin Wings right now and rust kessel and guentzel are great wingers with Sheary being a slumping guy who still is a solid top 9 forward. Rowney and kuhnackl are solid fourth liner penalty killers and we have guys like Simon, ZAR, Sprong, and JSD who can play if need be.

The goaltending is also good with Murray and Jarry who is playing fantastic, except last night. DeSmith is another good option, plus we have leighton, so no need to add back there either.

Defense is what we need. To make some cap space, I just got rid of hunwick to the Habs, they have cap space. We might need to add something to make them take that horrific contract, but bergevin is pretty dumb so we probably won’t need to. Then I picked up Oduya off of waivers just to add more depth on defense. I also got back Cole, last night we showed we really need him. He did well on the pk and with oleksiak, and he’s a good player for the playoffs. His price is rumoured to be similar to what Kempny and holden got, maybe a little more, so we give them back their third and miletic to make it work. This way we have a good top four of Schultz letang dumoulin and matta, with the successful third pairing of Cole-Oleksiak and two capable extras, one of each handedness which is nice.

In order to make the cap work, I had to send down ZAR.
