Description
I have no issues with inter-divisional trades at this point. The Pens may want a proven NHL veteran backup as they should still make solid playoff runs at least for next season. Hurricanes or Islanders have question marks in net and a proven starter with decent numbers.

Regarding Mrazek, the money/term should be relatively accurate, and an AHL backup should be sufficient until Hart gets acclimated and developed for the pro game.

While I don't necessarily agree with the buyout, Lehtera's is included since it seems like a good chance that will happen. At least it opens a roster spot. Given this team, Frost will get pro experience in the AHL before making the jump. It's time to see what Vecchione can do.

We'll see what draft day deals are done if the Flyers do get the Blues 1st rounder. Not guaranteed if they fall out of the playoffs and the lottery ping-pong balls are kind to them. While they will have the cap space, I don't see them making any big UFA splashes for a speedy scorer, but use all picks in a presumably deep draft.

Dude this isn't what would happen today. This is next year's team meaning this happens either during free agency or likely at draft. It says in trade though "depending on trade timeline"

I could be wrong but I believe because of his age or status Frost must be in the NHL or back in the minors. I don't think he can go to the AHL

Well, everything I have heard from every DET fan was that they basically killed any growth he could have had. A fresh start for a skilled guy could be just what he needs. Also, nobody is calling him a saviour, he is a capable goalie that would be a nice stop gap until Carter Hart takes over.
