Description
Saw on twitter Justin Bourne tossing out the idea of the Avs offering sheeting Mark Stone to really screw over the Sens.

Avs have their own 2019 picks to offersheet and have the Sens 1st and 3rd that year. In the process of getting Stone to make the Avs better, they would make the Sens much much worse and making the Avs own Sens picks that much higher.

Fun what if moment if Sakic was cold blooded and rail roaded a team

Mark Stones is a very good player, But in no way is he worth $8.5 million per.

probably not but hes 25 and a very complete winger. Teams would be giving out 7m range on UFAs who are in are 28-32 range. So whats spending an extra mill or so to get a guy in his prime prime years vs a guy who might be leaving them soon as a UFA.

8.5m Is what was proposed based on recent contracts and his comparisons based on production.

if it makes the sens 2019 1st rounder an instant lottery pick that could land the Avs a Jack Hughes...that would just be such a kick in the gut to the sens. So cold blooded I want to see it happen
