Why would you sign Stastny if you have Bjustad - who is a very capable 2C.
Also, Tavares (if he makes it to UFA status) would require alot more (ie.15M/year) to sign in MTL.
Save the $$$ on Stastny, offer JT more and resign Pleky at a bargain 1 year deal (1.5 - 2M) and down the middle you look like this.

I have an idea: Pacioretty and Benn for Dale Tallon and his scouts.

I like the trades, except the Shaw. I'd move Shaw to the Carolina deal and forget that whole flip thing with the Avs.

Tippett=Pacioretty at this point with how young he is and how much potential he has, and i guess Bjug=2nd+Benn.
