hellubuck is going to ask for way more money at least 6m. Carolina will also never make that trade because hannifin is the future top defensemen for them. You are also going to need a lot of cap space for laine who will be a rfa next year

Myers at $5.5M for a versatile top four defender who sits 28 in defence scoring isn't all that bad. The way TNSE took care of him and his family last season, I can't see them jettisoning him any time soon.
