*Not an Islanders fan so dont know all the ins and outs of the team*

Sign Nelson so you can trade him away again because he doesnt fit with the islanders, I think Calgary is a good place for him alongside Bennett and Jankowski on the third line. Flames also want to get rid of brodie, who is still fine and his contract is expiring just in time to sign Barzal and Pulock, and to also take some responsibility over the aging Boychuk.

Clutterbuck is an awful contract. Canucks are cap dump team send them a third and you get a fifth if youre lucky.

Need a goaltender. (Caps wont trade him after his performance in the playoffs, this is still assuming they want Grubauer as their starter, if not Holtby then Grubauer for bellows or Islanders first).

Dal colle hasnt worked out and they need picks back so they get a third and Beaulieu who fits their style. Also puts pressure on Pelech to De hann to be better with internal competition. Not to mention Beaulieu contract ends after a season for cap space.

Contracts:

Eberle and Lee will sign matching contracts at like 6-7 million.

Beauv signs a bridge deal at like 2-3 million

Ho-sang hasnt proven himself sign a bridge deal for 1 mil

Greiss and Brodie walk in time for pulock and Barzal to sign. Hopefully the Islanders can trade one of Boychuk or Ladd as well.
