Description
Cody Ceci is really bad, but this is probably a deal the Sens are gonna sign him to. I also wanted to resign Wideman, but I have a feeling the Sens won't budge on that either.

Ceci has almost half as many even strength goals as Karlsson had at his age. They were each about -25 this year. I sort of get why a Sens fan wanted to trade both for Holtby this morning, on here.

+/- is the worst tool for player evaluation. Karlsson was, and always will be amazing, and under no circumstance should be traded for Holtby lol. Ceci gets destroyed every time he's on the ice; he brings down the performance of those around him. Brutal player.

You can't just look at stats and justify Ceci's play. His goals this year haven't been anything special. In fact several have been lucky bounces on dump ins laugh
Defensively Ceci has been plain bad and offensively he's been mediocre.

Karlsson leads all nhl defenceman in points/game even though he had an off year coming off a major surgery. He's one of the top 5 best players in the league right now.

It can be a team stat. Is it safe to say the two would not make a great pairing?
