Description
EDM allowed to talk to Myers prior to discuss extension. The Jets really want Bouchard so they trade ARZ to move up giving them two analytic darlings on very good deals in Perrault and Dano as well as the 10th which still likely allows them to draft one of the 2 guys on their list (hypothetically).

WPG Sheds enough salary to re-sign stastny whos keen on winning a cup and thinks the Jets can do so. Other than that, status quo and bring in Vesalainen to replace Perrault with more scoring touch and prepare for next years big deals to Connor, Laine, and potentially Wheeler extensions.

      Edmonton can’t afford to re-sign Myers most likely, so 10OA for a player with 1 year left on a deal is a major stretch, even for Chia. Armia is a toss in bottom 6 with negligible value.

      Aaaaaaand even if you did pull that heist, giving two depth players doesn’t get you to 5.

      Myers is worth 1st, 2nd, and 2nd/3rd with extension
      Armia is exactly the type of player the oilers need. A cheap penalty killer who can score
