There is no way Detroit gives up that many picks to obtain the 18th overall (CBJ) pick, or Ottawa gives up that much for the 30/31st overall (VGK) pick

The only trade that makes sense for CBJ is the RNH one, and we'd need to add more to the deal

Why would we move two good players for a guy who couldn't do anything with out McDavid? the only trade that makes any sense is the Dallas one where we move out Dubinskys contract and take back two even worse contracts that are only one year......

Buddy, if you think RNH is that bad then I don't know what to tell you. But taking on $12 mill in contracts assures us that we won't be able to do anything else this offseason.

RNH is good but he didn’t do anything until he got on the same line at Connor McJesus so..... don’t know what you’ve been watching. Also Bjorkstrand and Jenner are both good players. The taking 12.4 million is also coming off the books after this season just in time for us to resign Werenski, Panarin and Bobrovsky so we also lose the almost 6 million that is Dubinsky. Being a gm isn’t about one offseason, it’s about what you do for the next three and how you have to think 3 moves ahead just like in chess.
