Minnesota will find a way to make cap space so they can match that offer. If you really want to go that route, you'll have to offer closer to 8 million for him... Which probably wouldn't be worth it

If throwing money at d-men is an option, then there are good ones in UFA that won't cost multi draft picks as well.
