Karlssons worth more, Girard or Jost instead of all those picks and prospects. especially if you're signing JT you dont need Jost. also if they keep jost, they might run into cap issues with rantanen and him having ELC coming up soon

i do think that tampa deal would be a 1:1 but i could see it going either way (as in either could add a 2nd/3rd)

other than that i really like this for the avs. they look like a top team in the nhl

you arent getting Jost or Girard in an EK trade, based on the Vegas frame work...that isnt happening . Ott wants their own 1st round pick back in the worst way. You arent giving up that pick and some of your best young players for him.

The deal is a bit light on the prospect end, but Ott 1st, Barrie, and maybe another piece is as much as it goes compared to Cody Glass, a pick, and Colin Miller. Dont see the big difference in value bw the 2 there

i was saying Jost and girard straight up for EK, i think that would be great for both ends , especially if you are getting JT

Still not moving Girard or Jost. You keep those guys, to have good young talent on ELCs for a few more years is key. If you can get Karlsson without moving those guys as well as Makar. You do it

yea colorado does it of course, but ott doesnt do it, unless you take on the ryan contract, then maybe, but still theyre getting so little when they can listen to other offers
