Tried working in the Doughty contract with the expected terms reported by some insiders on Sportsnet and TSN with a $3 million raise in the cap ceiling. If the NHL doesn't raise the cap ceiling for the 2019-2020 season, then it might get ugly for the Kings. Might have to do some sort of salary dump involving Muzzin, maybe even Pearson too.
