Did not lose Parayko or Thomas and made the team a lot deeper.

If Thomas is not ready for full time NHL he moves down to compete with Barbashev for playing time at 4c. This works considering the Blues are not going for a "grinding" fourth line like in the past.

Putting the best face off taker in the league on the wing isnt the smartest move but this team is gonna have an awesome center core

ROR can play LW, but he is definitely underutilized there. You guys have good center depth now, but trading for ROR and signing Bozak with Schenn, Thomas, and Barbs already here is a bit head scratching

Just cause he is not the center does not mean he will not take draws or have center responsibilities. Look around the league multiple teams have righty and lefty centers on the same line taking draws on their strong hand.

Barbashev is not really developing into a top 6 center, but compared to end last year our centers were Schenn, Berglund, Brodziak and barbashev so this is a much needed upgrade.
