Description
Now i'm truly not looking to bash on ottawa right now but where i see it it's important 2 things happen with the trade. 1) they get some quality ftom this trade. 2) they are not making it easy for colorado to get 1st overall next year. Though karlsson is worth more most teams are not going to give market value especially if ryan even at half cap is involved. By getting 2 top 6 forwards and a promising top pair dman this team should be out of the top 5 next year in the draft and the organization have Glass,Miller, Haula to sell to the fans.

The value in these deals almost always comes in the form of multiple futures, not roster players.
It doesn't appear as though Dorion has much control over what's going on in Ottawa and it's only going to get worse if next years pick is high AND Duchene walks.

I know its usually futures but my point is it would be better to get even glass and miller and a 1st then 3 il1st seeing if they get 1st overall it only helps colorado not ottawa. I also think Duchene could be traded at the deadline for a nash type deal.

I agree with you but I don't know that they know what they're doing anymore over in Ottawa.

I think they know i just think that the financials might rush them to take a bad deal.
