I think this is what stevey y needs to think about. just be patient. I think he waits. keeps serg and foote and gets karlson sheds bad contracts and gets younger on the defense. i do still think that killer or tj needs to be moved as well. no where near worth their salary.

As good of top 3 defensemen in the league, perhaps the best! It would be a coup to extend Kuch for $8.5M but Florida does have tax benefits to entice guys for lower salaries, correct? Good job.

no this idea is to wait until karlsson is a FA becasue he has already said TAMPA is the only team he'll sign an extension with, which normally means a player only wants to play their meaning FA time he will sign and probs for a discount.

You cant sign another teams UFA to an 8 year deal
