Description
Trying to figure out how to make a move for Panarin without sacrificing any of Rakell (incredible contract), Steel (only A prospect in the pipeline), or top 4 Dmen (lots of D prospects to vie for bottom 2 pairing, but none ready for top 4 minutes). Let me know your thoughts or other ideas!

Also, very likely Steel plays in the AHL this year, but just wanted to include him in the lineup to put all options on the table

I like Panarin, but I think the only way the money works is if we move Perry. Need the funds to pay Gibby next year. Also not sure we want to pay his extension which will be in the 8 million range.

I completely agree. Not sure how to move Perry though. All I can think of is start him on the first line with Getz and Panarin (or in real life Rakell) so he can get some points to start the year, then find anyone willing to take his contract, and retain some salary if needed. He has a NMC though so he has to want it too

Agreed. IMO, I think BM is trying to move Perry. If he can't move Perry soon I would expect us to move Silf as the summer moves a long. We can't extend him without moving Perry IMO, at least not if you want to keep Gibby, and BM wont lose an asset like Silf for nothing. Not when he can get some picks or something to the future. It also makes it easier for someone like Terry to get into the lineup.
