Whats the justification on the 8.8 in unused cap? I don't think this team could win as stands. Use the money and upgrade. Goaltending especially. But really all around.

I think the main question you have to ask yourself is: is your center depth enough to compete with the likes of PIT, TOR, or WSH? I'd say no, and the bottom six is pretty weak as it is. Goaltending would also be a concern.
