I would have to think the Sabres would want to keep Scandella to protect Dahlin from top-line left D minutes for a couple of years. And the Okposo contract and concussions issues are too risky and long-term. So both sides should say NO but especially the Sabres. They've already filled up their LW spots this summer (Skinner, Sheary, Sobotka, Berglund, etc.) and don't need Patches any more. They also have LW Alex Nylander waiting in the minors, he may eventually make it too.
