If Panarin wants to resign in MTL, then by all means pull that trigger! This only works if both UFA's want to resign where they go.

All that, and Panarin wants to go to a market where her wife can model and break on to the scene so that pretty much limits his market to LAK, NYR, NYI, NJD, FLO & SJS. I could see him in SJS, next year, when Thornton retires. They'll have the money.

Montreal is actually a pretty big fashion city/market so it may suffice. Although they have to know that. So if that is the case then yeah it would be pretty pointless.
