If the link didn't paste properly, I've seen a few of these posts recently all quoting friends or sources but either way I hope it's true. All contract negotiations have been put on hold while a sale of the team is being negotiated. Would explain the 1 year arb Stone/Ceci contracts and why Duchene and Karlsson have yet to be extended.

Can only hope, just wanted to share with those that might have missed it.

I saw this the other day, and god I hope it's true. If the team can just hold on to their big name free agents until a deal is reached, that would be ideal. Even if the team does decide to trade them, I would feel better knowing it's because they think it's the best decision for the future and not just the best choice for the Owner's wallet.

As far as whether it's actually true.... I'll believe it when I read the press release.
