A couple things here.

First, I don't think this is enough. Dallas will probably want a 1st round pick and the price will definitely be higher for a division rival. They will also likely want our best forward (Granlund) in return for theirs. I'd say Granlund, Kunin, and a 2019 1st would be pretty close to Seguin and Point (though Coyle might have to be a piece given they'd have a hole at center). As a Badger fan, I'd rather we give up Eriksson Ek than Kunin (I know other Wild fans that would say otherwise, but I value his right shot) but losing either of them is a tough pill to swallow.

Second, if we're giving up this much of our future in the form of picks/prospects, Seguin better come with an extension. He won't be cheap, though. I estimate he'll make more than Tavares (in the ballpark of $12M). We'd have to unload some bigger contracts to make that a possibility.

He's comparable to Tavares even though Tavares has more 80+ point seasons (Seguin has consistently been over 73 points the past 5 seasons where Tavares hasn't) and Tavares was rumored to have had an offer for $13.5M... At the very least Seguin will make Tavares money.
