Krug is worth a lot more than a 2nd rounder.

As much as I'd like Stone, Ottawa isn't trading with Boston or anyone in the East for that matter. There is a reason that Ottawa was pissed when San Jose flipped Hoffman to Florida and that's why they made San Jose put a conditional 1st (if Karlsson was traded to an Eastern Conference team) into this most recent deal.

It actually goes to show how poor of ownership and leadership is in Ottawa. They took their star/franchise player and made him available for trade, but only to half the teams in the NHL. There were teams in the East that could and would have beat San Jose's offer. Those clowns in Ottawa let their ego get in the way and we're more worried about seeing EK watch an East team win, than actually make the best possible move for the team. Lets be honest Ottawa is 3-5 years before even becoming a bubble team.
