If you are going to buy a player out, why buy out Brooks Laich and bury Cowen? If you buy out Cowen, you get a 600k cap credit.
And those deals are ******* amazing. Lou is a wizard. And getting Matthews or Laine would be a game changer

I seen Cowens name down there didnt even bother to look that its in the buried....just assumed it was a buy out lol.... ya that is messed up man.

I bought out Cowen to. The defense is pretty bad considering Leafs don't have a true number 1 dman yet, Reilly could become one but he's far from playing against leagues best players. The bottom Pairing D is bad to and the 4th line but the Leafs are still rebuilding so whatever lol.

True playoff team needs #1 Dman, #1 Center and #1 Goalie. Leafs don't have that.
