Description
Might not be a high enough value in terms of assets received by the Kings but feel like a package of two prospects and a pick could work. Maybe switch Cehlarik for Fitzgerald.

Not a terrible idea. I don't know why the Kings would do this and if I were Boston I think in the long run I'd keep Heinen but its not a bad idea.

Think it’s an overpayment actually. Much as i like TT. He’s averaged 48 points per 82 games. Heinen had 47 as a rookie. And you add a another guy who could give that kind of production and a 2nd. Seems pricey.

Kings should take it. They need to dump salary. He becomes a UFA the following year.

I don't see how this benefits the bruins.

A stable right winger who can put up 50 points a year on a top line. Allows Pastrnak to shift down to second line and spark line 2. Contract expires in 2 years at same time as Backes contract ends.

Toffoli is also a finisher and finishes with around 20 goals a year. Heinen gets a bulk of his points off assists and does not in any way drive a line.

a right winger who can put up 50 points? Cool, except he's only put up 50 points once in his career. He'll get you 20 goals...or maybe he won't, like the year before last when he had 16, same as heinen in his rookie year.

Heinen is younger, far better defensively, far more difficult to play against, and is a puck battle monster.

Why are we giving up him, and futures, to get a guy who may, or may not, but probably isn't, fractionally better?
