I'm not worried about Pit to be honest. With Sid coming back the ship should be righted real soon. They aren't as bad as their record dictates and for a team that is the worst in the conference, they can find themselves back in the playoffs by the 1/2 mark of the year with a little luck..

Disagree. Pens are going down because of the cap. They need to move either Kessel or Malkin recoup some value and cap space in order to at least remain a threat.

If you are betting against Pittsburgh and Crosby, your going to have a bad time. They're starting slow no doubt but they still have plenty of game left. Trading Crosby or Malkin is not an option. And Kessel despite being the obvious option, has been too good to let go and at his cap hit isn't event that bad. They have had some key injuries which hasn't help. Schultz being one of them. Matt Murray being an AHL goalie during the season but an All star during the playoffs needs to stop also. Betting on 84 year old Cullen might have not been wise and Jack Johnson literally had a sign on him saying, "I will make the team that signs me worse" and Ruthorford still went for it....

With all that said, they can go on a very reasonable pace for the next 10 games and voila, back in the playoffs. Its still very close. Rangers were bottom a feeder at the start of the season and now they're knocking on 1st in the division.... Got to love that parity.
