Blockbuster with LA

I don't like this for the direction of the team as it is now. Simmonds I agree needs to be moved...they're not going to nor do I want them to resign him. I think other pieces like Voracek, Raffl, and maybe a D man could be moved, but getting rid of Carter Hart and watching him turn into a Vezina winner and getting back Quick who is past the prime of his career can't stay healthy which is the primary problem with our goalies now isn't a move I want to make. I'd rather see the Flyers get Crawford for the "bridge to Hart" and hope Chicago sells without taking us to the cleaners because they are in need of a rebuild now as well. Hart is NOT moving anywhere.

IMO Quick is not worth what he used to be. He is older, on a long deal and has been injured very often. Doughty is still one of the best in the league but that cap hit is insane! I would much prefer all our cost controlled players and picks over this return. Flyers are giving up WAY too much

Yikes, wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much to give. If we are on the brink of being a contender and the only thing missing was literally a goalie and a dman than sure. This team is not ready to compete making this trade pointless for the Flyers.

It's fine, keep Hart. Kings have Cal Peterson in the wings. But throw in Scott Laughton instead. I'd do that.

If you are going to trade for Quick, one of the biggest draws of getting him would be having him as a mentor to Hart
