No they won't. No team is taking on a 6 million dollar 4th liner for 4.5 more years. And while you're right that they're getting 3 young prospects and 2 high draft picks, they're also giving up by far the most valuable asset (Parayko), and a good young player in Fabbri, and Patrick Maroon!!! They don't even consider this. I'm an Oilers fam, and I'd love to move Lucic. But St. Louis can easily get back young players and draft picks for Parayko, and Fabbri. And they can do it without taking on one of the worst contracts in the league for 5 seasons!!!


St Louis could get two 1st rounders for Parayko alone! They could get a 3rd for Maroon, and they could easily get a package similar to bear and Maksimov for Fabbri. Ethan bear isn't performing in the AHL right now, his value isn't very high at the moment. St. Louis hangs up the phone

Lmao why’d you put an emphasis on Maroon. He’s scored 1 goal this season and holds no value to the blues. As for Bear, he’s coming off an injury and easily withholds a lot of value; every young RHD holds a lot of value in the league. The blues get a future 30 goal scorer in Maxsimov and get a young RHD in bear, and get another elite prospect Yamamoto. Not to mention they get 3 high end picks. They could simply buyout Lucic near the expansion draft.(complacent buyout if possible)
