Lol what are you talking about? He's playing 20 minutes a night at the NHL level. While it looks like it's too much for him right now, he has the right instincts with and away from the puck. I think he should definitely be in the NHL, he just needs his ice time scaled back.

He also just turned 21 like a month ago, so he's still got several year of Development before he hits his prime, at which point he will certainly be able to handle 2nd pair minutes.

That said, I don't think either team should do this. The way he has been playing, Tatar could probably net MTL a more Top 4 ready NHL D, and Ottawa doesn't need to be adding forwards, considering how many young forwards are likely to make the full time jump to the NHL.
