Description

Why does this rumor make sense for the Ducks? When Perry and Eaves come back, it make the line up weird and hard to balance out. Plus the D would take a major hit. Montour has stepped up since the injury to Fowler and has been playing at a very high level. (I would say elite, but that would be a stretch).
The Ducks would then have to flip a winger or tow just for a Dman.... makes the Sprong trade a dumb trade... and I really like the trade for Sprong. He has fit in well with eh ducks.
And why would a GM trade a 24 RHD for a 31 year old winger, even with him having 90 points last year.

Yea, I don't know why that rumour exist, if just for cap reasons for the Ducks. Next year with $$$ increases to Henqurie and Gibson plus if Perry returns, Ducks need all cap space. Kessel is good but you still need a Dman.
