yeah true but I do think they fleeced on that trade and this trade is probably an overpay, I do think Carrick is very underrated.

I just think TOR must have had to put Carrick on waivers...otherwise they would've had exceeded the player limit...and in their point of view, getting even something was better than losing him for free...

I'm okay with Burakovsky for Bennett as a change of scenery. Similar offense. Smaller, but hits more. Slightly younger. Not sure about the 2nd. Both hit RFA this summer.

Severson is a good puck mover, but has 24 min shtoi this season. Niskanen plays that in a week.

Carrick has 5:24.

Rather have Lovejoy, Polak, or Lindell from those teams.
