Description
- I personally dont think Edler will get traded, he wants to be on the team, and for the next two years I think he will provide this team depth and also help spread the workload so Hughes wouldnt be overworked

- Canucks select Soderstrom in the 2019 draft
- Juolevi does not make the team out of training camp, but maybe Canucks call him up midway through season
- Dahlen and Gaudette make team through training camp

Trades
1.
VAN
  1. 2020 7th round pick (COL)
COL
  1. Schaller, Tim
Additional Details:
Schaller is traded to any team that wants him for a late pick, because theres just simply no room for him on the roster with the young talent coming up
2.
VAN
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (FLA)
  2. 2021 4th round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
2nd RD pick is conditional: If this team makes to 2nd RD of playoffs, they will send over its 1st RD pick of that year instead
FLA
  1. Sutter, Brandon ($1,200,000 retained)
Additional Details:
I dont see Sutter on the Canucks come September 2019. Hes a reliable FO player and is a good penalty killer who can produce sometimes offensively. Canucks should be able to release him, if they retain a bit on his salary. Again, im just randomly choosing a team to trade him to

What pick do you think the canucks will have.
Because Soderstrom is projected to go top 10

I think Canucks will finish just outside of a playoff spot so about picks 10-14. We need some defence especially right handed ones, so I think a bold choice is Soderstrom

I like your outlook for the most part. I dont think we need to retain anything on Sutter with the cap going up. We would have to trade him before the deadline in that trade which is fine but we may want to keep him to push for the playoffs and definitely dont need to risk losing our 1st rounder. Id prefer to see Sutter traded for a 3rd or B level RhD prospect. Has Dahlen proven himself yet? I know Gaudette needs some more developing to get his 200ft game more polished but he is making strides.

Hello, I think you must be mistaken. I meant the team that Sutter was traded to will send over their 1st RD pick, not Canucks sending our 1st RD pick over. On the other hand, I think Dahlen has proven himself. Hes been doing quite well in AHL on an injury-riddled Comets team, but he seems to never have a down game from what ive seen. I agree, I want Sutter for a RHD prospect but i just dont see it happening. Gaudette has been improving game by game, and he should get a lot of playing time in Utica, and hopefully that can flourish his play and bring him back as 3C at the start of the 2019-2020 season

Agh gotcha skimmed over it too quick i guess. Dont think Sutters value is that high in a trade. Id say we could get a 2nd if multiple teams wanted him from us but if we are actively looking to trade him we'd probly get a 3rd at best. Really hope we can get Boeser signed below 7.5M but doesnt look likely with the way he is playing eh.. Dont think Demko gets that much but maýbe 2M per on his first NHL deal. Goldy and Leivo around Virtanen 1.3-1.5 and I like the Edler, Hutton deals.
