        Pretty good. Might have to add a little more but certainly on the right track. Even if Backes and his 6m doesn't sign, still money left for a quality winger.

        Take out the Pasta for Vatanen deal and I'm all for it. I'm really tired of this team trading high end offensive talent.

        My thought was I'd rather sign Vatanen and lose Pasta then overpay for Demers. Plus he offsets the loss of Krug in the Trouba trade.

        More how? To win or get the deals done? There are plenty of prospects to add to the trades. I wanted to fix the defense now with our aging forwards. Matthews was added for some spice (we're just fans).

        Vatrano is not ready to be a top-6 forward. Czarnik hasn't even played in the NHL and you have him replacing Spooner. Heinen might be a top 9 forward in a few years but he is not jumping into the #1 RW role next season. Backes is way overpaid. No one is trading for Krug, he won't be ready till September.
