Flames for BobZucc 2019-20

I'm not sure how much of his value would take a hit. I don't think 7.5 x 5 is that far off, but there's so many teams that are starved for high quality goaltending that his value will stay relatively high.

Bobrovsky is looking at being one of the highest paid goalies in the league, Hence he wants at least Carey Price money. Fat chance he signs in Calgary for only 5 x 7.5. Word has it he's looking at the Islanders as a possible destination. They've tons of money to spend plus a new arena coming up in a few years. Bobrovsky isn't signing for just a little more then what he's currently making now. He'll want to cash in big time here on what is probably his final contract before he retires.

NYR have no need for frolik with their abundance of young players competing for spots already,

2 things that jump out at me from this.....

1. WHY are you trading a guy like Bennett within the division? People crap on this kid all the time and all they site is how he doesn't score enough. What they fail to see is other things he brings to the game and his teammates. He's not afraid to stand up to almost anyone when it's called for. Just ask Josh Manson, Trouba, Ian Cole etc. We would all LOVE it if he could put up more points, but we should also appreciate the heart he brings in certain situations.

2. Why are you re-signing Spencer Foo. Sadly he hasn't panned out to anywhere near what was expected. End of this year, just let him go OR try to trade his rights to another team and see if you get anything of value back.
