Description

Edmonton is ripe for a tear down. This is just some thoughts on what a new team could lol like.

The most controversial would be unloading RNK, Larson and Draisaitl - getting back a pending UFA in Duchene, Kadri, young RFa wingers and picks. I would use the 11-15M to get Duchene and a new goalie.

Bring in Brown for leadership and to unload Lucic.

Trade off some mediocre players for low picks.

Comment away - I’m not an edmonton expert but this would put them in a better spot next year IMO

Kadri for Larsson might be fair one for one. No reason for Toronto to add. Thinking it would be opposite with how bad Larsson plays this year.

All of these trades i’d probably do from an Oiler perspective. I think if you’re retaining off Kassian, you can 1up or possibly 2up that 6th pick.
