Two lottery tickets sounds like a nice compensation for taking on the Lucic contract, idn if id do it if i were the oilers though.

Basically a first for Stone and a first to get rid of Lucic's contract. It's an expensive trade and you'd be heavily gambling on Stone resigning but I think it's a vast upgrade for the Oilers and shaves off several years of digging out from Chiarelli's cap issues.

What do you do when Sekera comes off the IR? You are taking on more money with Stone and would be well over the cap. Maybe Ottawa would retain salary as Stone is UFA at season end.
